Wakefield Freemasons

Freemasonry In Wakefield

Freemasons have been meeting in Wakefield since 1766.

We have lodges that meet every night of the week and welcome pre-arranged visitors and enquiries from the public.

Our warrants are issued from the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE) and we are situated in the Masonic Province of Yorkshire, West Riding.

Yorkshire, West Riding is one of the oldest Provinces in Freemasonry and has retained its name from the reorganisation of the English Counties under the Boundary Commission of 1974. The name does not reflect its geographical extent, which covers the whole of West and South Yorkshire and parts of North and East Yorkshire.

Where we meet

We meet at Wakefield Masonic Hall on Zetland Street, Wakefield, WF1 1QT, United Kingdom.
